About Us

The Cape May Point Taxpayers Association, Inc.  is a not-for-profit corporation of the State of New Jersey, having achieved that designation on August 7, 1991, under Section 501 ( c ) (3) of the Internal Revenue Code.

The purpose of the Association, under the current by-laws, is:

1. to promote the welfare of the Borough of Cape May Point, N.J.,
2. to promote a spirit of community pride and cooperation,
3. to sponsor and support events and activities which contribute to the life of the community, and         
4. to carry out such other acts and to undertake such other activities as may be necessary, appropriate or desirable in furtherance of or in connection with the conduct, promotion or attainment of the foregoing purposes, provided that none of such activities shall be undertaken which would cause the Corporation to lose its status as an organization described in Section 501 (c) (3) of the Code, or as an organization, contributions to which are deductible under Sections 170, 2055 and 2522 of the Code.

Annual membership is open to all property owners.   The business of the Association is conducted by a Board of Directors comprised of a President, Vice-President, Secretary, Treasurer as well as four non-resident and three resident Directors. 

Membership dues are $15 per person and include three newsletters and full access to website and e-bulletin items.
