CMPTA is launching an “Aging in Place” initiative in 2018. We will listen to Pointers about needs and wishes and those of friends and family at the Point. Personal emergency planning, a Community Issue Forum and ongoing information-sharing will be part of this initiative.

The Cape May Point Taxpayers' Association is a not-for-profit, charitable organization designated under IRS Section 501(c)(3). Founded in 1938, the purpose of the Association, is:
- to promote the welfare of the Borough of Cape May Point;
- to promote a spirit of community pride and cooperation;
- to sponsor and support events and activities which contribute to the life of the community; and
- to carry out such other acts and to undertake such other activities as may be necessary, appropriate or desirable in furtherance of or in connection with the conduct, promotion or attainment of the foregoing purposes, provided that none of such activities shall be undertaken which would cause the Corporation to lose its status as an organization described in Section 501(c)(3) of the Code, or as an organization, contributions to which are deductible under Sections 170, 2055 and 2522 of the Code.
