Volunteering
Our borough government is small and responsive and concentrates on delivering core services and addressing critical safety, security and environmental priorities in a fiscally responsible manner. Keeping taxes low requires prioritization and a lot of citizen involvement.
Some opportunities are ongoing, but there are many things that require no long term or major commitment.
And, volunteering is a great way to get to know the Point and your neighbors!
Here are just a few examples of what you could do to contribute to the Point:
- Write an article for the CMPTA newsletter
- Take photographs
- Set up tables for an event
- Survey a garden for the Garden Awards
- Serve as an historian
- Help plan a community event
- Support membership in CMPTA
- Join the Board of a community organization
- Become a Pavilion Circle “Bed Fellow”
- Help update the website
- Make a tax-deductible contribution
- Help with the Circle Games
- Volunteer to support the Dunes
- Design event posters or flyers
- Monitor Borough government meetings
